Dundee Mediterranean Estate Features Landscape by Aspen Creek Landscaping
An Aspen Creek client was covered in Oregonian article Retiring to a European vineyard estate in Dundee: Why leave the country? We worked closely with our client to select materials and plants that contributed to their home’s LEED certification.
Scott Picker at Aspen Creek Landscaping in Newberg contributed to the LEED certification by using local materials to build stonewalls and patios. Picker also worked closely with Wilson Christensen, an avid gardener, to select drought-tolerant plants.
“Since we are getting a bit creakier in our late middling years,” jokes Wilson Christensen, “we wanted a simple landscape design and low-maintenance plants such as sedum, berberis, lavender and grasses to create a Mediterranean mood.”
