Scott Picker

President

Scott caught the landscaping bug at an early age as he and his brother started a small landscaping company in High School. He then moved on to Washington State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education in 1998. Since founding Aspen Creek in 2000, Scott has been an active member of the community and landscape industry serving as the State President of the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association in 2014. His artistic vision, extensive plant knowledge and attention to detail are the foundation of the company’s success. In his free time Scott can be found frolicking in the pastures with his herd of Texas Longhorns or spending time with his wife Amelia and their two children Carson and Emily.

Jeremy Tobin

General Manager

Jeremy has been managing landscape maintenance on the West Coast since 2003. Since moving to Oregon and joining Aspen Creek in 2013 he has strived to provide clients with excellent customer service. His vast knowledge of plant health, ornamental pruning and proper maintenance techniques ensure our client’s gardens look their best. Jeremy is currently the President of the Portland Region of the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association and an active member of the Sherwood community. As a former class clown he can now be found hamming it up around the office in a vain attempt to make everyone laugh. Jeremy enjoys spending his free time with his wife Allison and their two children Cooper and Phoebe.

Leann Brammer

Accountant

Leann joined Aspen Creek Landscaping in 2020, but her roots are tied to the company for many years before that. She enjoys working with people, helping them in any way that she can, and has a background of 14 years in accounting. Having lived most of her life in the Willamette valley, she loves being a part of the area and watching it continue to develop. Leann is passionate about spending time with her dog Brodie, she would never turn down a good time at a concert, finding solace being outdoors, or being curled up with a good book on a rainy day.

Nicole Evens

Office Manager

Nicole has enjoyed landscaping in various forms since she was a child, which is what drew her to join the Aspen Creek Landscaping team. Combining her love for the design of landscaping and her business acumen background, this has made her truly enjoy being a part of this team. Her passions include spending any free time outdoors whether that's being at the ocean, adventuring in the woods, or being on a motorcycle on a hot summer day. Nicole has lived in the Pacific Northwest her whole life and happily lives in the Willamette Valley with her husband Matt and their two children Abel and Sophia, along with their many dogs and cats.

Chris Larrance

Special Services Manager

Chris joined the Aspen Creek family in 2022 contributing over 20 years of experience in the landscape trades designing and installing residential outdoor living spaces throughout San Francisco Bay area. Trained in design, irrigation, and sustainable practices, he brings knowledge of a full range of services from design through to completion. His hands-on experience with patios, stonework, walls, decks, fences, hot tubs, lighting, irrigation, and plant care provides insight and understanding of what it takes to build the right landscaping. His passion to provide a beautiful landscape environment and peace of mind for each client make him the right manager for enhancements, irrigation, and special services.

Mark Caron

Construction Manager

Mark has been in landscaping all of his life, starting with launching a professional lawn mowing service as a teen and continuing it through college. He majored in Ornamental Horticulture and graduated from University of Delaware in Newark, DE. Hired as a landscape laborer, shifting quickly to a foreman at a local landscape contractor in Delaware, his path took him to Denver Colorado in 1998. There he worked as a manager of a landscaping company, which installed custom residential landscapes, also perfecting his irrigation skills in the aired environment of the front range. In 2006, after meeting his wife and starting their family, they moved to Portland where he stablished Green Source Landscape in 2009 which ran for 15 years. Being a landscape professional for 30 years, Mark has transformed many trouble spots into wonderful, livable outdoor spaces. Always working with the customers best interest at heart, he has been renovating and improving outdoor living environments for years. Mark can be trusted to transform your outdoor spaces to become everything you've envisioned it could be. The result is a harmonious space that suits your lifestyle and budget.

Demetrio Newey

Maintenance Manager

Demetrio's journey in the landscaping industry is truly inspiring. Starting from the ground up as a material driver, his progression to a foreman and team supervisor showcases his dedication and skill development over the past eight years. Now, as the Maintenance Manager with Aspen Creek Landscaping, he uses his extensive knowledge of plant healthcare and landscape maintenance to ensure the highest standard of service. Demetrio's passion for continuous learning in the landscaping field highlights his commitment to professional growth, which will certainly benefit both him and the company. Outside of work, his dedication to family is evident in the time he spends with his wife Lydia and daughter, creating precious memories together. Furthermore, his involvement in sports - both as a player and an official - shows his active lifestyle and commitment to community service, particularly in mentoring young athletes. This balance of professional ambition, family values, and community engagement paints a picture of a well-rounded individual who is making a positive impact in both his career and local community.

Anthony Hunt

Fleet Manager

Anthony is an enthusiastic diesel and gas engine mechanic, with experience in diagnosing and repairing complex engine systems. Committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Anthony is always eager to learn and adapt to the latest industry technologies and take his skills into the field. This includes repairing equipment on site in any weather conditions seven days a week. He assures that vehicles and equipment are always running strong an ready for the next job to come. Outside of his professional commitments, he channels his energy into restoring his Mustang and motorcycle. This pursuit of restoration not only enhances his technical skills but also deepens his love for automotive design and innovations.
